Adam Gilchrist won the toss and has decided to bat first. I think it is good decision ! Gilchrist reckons it is a good track and thinks the ball will move around a touch at the start. Deccan have the same XI.
With the skies not looking blue but grey, there will be some seam movement at the start. But given that rains can pour any time, it is a better decision to bat first, than second.
KP is disappointed at losing the toss. He’s cool and collected as usual. Just don’t say "Peter Moores" anywhere in earshot. Bangalore have dropped R Vinay Kumar for Karan Sharma and Ross Taylor makes way for compatriot Jesse Ryder.
Simon Doull and Greg Blewett have inspected the pitch. They reckon the quicks will have their say but don’t feel its entirely a bowler’s game. Spin should again have its say here too.
